Make Music Day
Make Music Day really is for everyone!
It's a city-wide celebration of Adelaide’s talented and diverse local music scenes and cultures and supporters of music.
40 venues across the Adelaide CBD and North Adelaide will open their doors for all to join in the fun of this FREE winter music festival.
Diverse-City is a proud 2026 Venue for Make Music Day this year.
Who's Playing at DC?
We're delighted to welcome back two superb vocalists and musicians - Louise of Weezy Listening will be playing acoustic guitar mesmerising you with her gorgeous vocals and from 12:00 - 1:00pm.
Then Mary Trees will take the stage and astound with her Bluegrass style electric guitar and vocals spotlighting the true heroines of the early American music. Read their bios in the <DISCUSSION TAB> of this event.
Is there food?
We'll offer brunch and full bar from 11:00 till 3:00pm so come on in and enjoy this fabulous afternoon of FREE music, great food, brilliant artists, and the best of company at Diverse-City.
And if you want more?
Check out both the daytime program 11am to 6pm and nighttime program 6pm to midnight to tailor your own Make Music Day trail of discovery. For the full program including accessibility information, go to Experience Adelaide | Make Music Day and start planning your route!
https://www.experienceadelaide.com.au/make-music-day/
Where did it originate?
Part of a global movement that began in France as Fête de la Musique, Make Music Day celebrates the creativity, diversity, colour, and energy that define the city as a UNESCO City of Music.
Building on the success of 2025, this year’s carefully curated program showcases both iconic city music venues and unexpected locations. More than 360 individual artists in 107 acts from solo performers and bands to choirs and community groups will transform venues, cafes, bars, galleries, bookstores and public spaces into live performance stages and dance floors.
We'd love to thank the City of Adelaide for their support of local artists and venues through this great initiative.

Blood on the Clocktower
During a hellish thunderstorm, a scream echoes through the sleepy town of Ravenswood Bluff. The townsfolk rush to investigate and find the beloved local storyteller has been murdered, their body hanging limp from the clocktower.
As blood drips onto the cobblestones below, a realisation slowly dawns… a demon has been unleashed, killing by night and taking on human form by day. Can good find the demon in time? Or will evil overrun this once peaceful town?
A social game played in person, seated in a circle, each player receives either a ‘good’ or ‘evil’ token with their unique character on it. Good players share information to solve the mystery whilst evil players lie about who they are and what they know.
The good team wins if they can piece together their knowledge, trust each other, and execute the demon. The evil team wins if the demon can sow distrust, evade detection, and wipe out the town.
