Celebration of Life - Mieke van Dijk

Celebration of Life - Mieke van Dijk

We'd like to let all dear friends of Mieke van Dijk know that after a short illness and admission to the RAH, Mieke passed away peacefully on Thursday, 3rd September.

She had a wonderful group of women friends with her at all times during her last week on this Earth and Kaz and Caroline were with her during her final passing.

Whilst her death has created an understandable sadness and huge loss in the community, Mieke was most clear that she wanted a 'Party Celebration' at Diverse-City after she was gone.

So we are inviting all who knew Mieke to come and celebrate her life and lets's fill the room with happy memories, pink or rainbow outfits, love and laughter.

Canapés will be provided and the bar will be open to purchase drinks.

If you have photos with Mieke, we'd love to include them in a photo reel on the day, so please send them to Sue@Diverse-City.com.au by 18 September.

Blood on the Clocktower
Sept

Blood on the Clocktower

During a hellish thunderstorm, a scream echoes through the sleepy town of Ravenswood Bluff. The townsfolk rush to investigate and find the beloved local storyteller has been murdered, their body hanging limp from the clocktower.

As blood drips onto the cobblestones below, a realisation slowly dawns… a demon has been unleashed, killing by night and taking on human form by day. Can good find the demon in time? Or will evil overrun this once peaceful town?

A social game played in person, seated in a circle, each player receives either a ‘good’ or ‘evil’ token with their unique character on it. Good players share information to solve the mystery whilst evil players lie about who they are and what they know.

The good team wins if they can piece together their knowledge, trust each other, and execute the demon. The evil team wins if the demon can sow distrust, evade detection, and wipe out the town.

Dinner from 6.00pm
