Would you like to play with other people? Hoot & Toot is all about having fun with other like-minded muscians.
Each week we’ll select a number of songs for everyone to play together.
If you play another woodwind or brasswind instrument and would like to join in, we can help sort out appropriate music, but please let us know in advance.

This learn to play session is being offered by experienced Dungeon Master, Samira.
Places are limited and registration is essential to secure your place at the table.
You are also welcome to be a spectator if you are not ready to take a roll of the dice just yet.

Life Drawing with Harry
Eat - Drink - Draw : Life Drawing has never been so much fun!
Come for dinner, have a drink, draw a model … it’s easy … 3rd Monday monthly (except April when it’s the 2nd Monday due to Easter Monday holiday).
Try something new and exciting with our Life Drawing class led by Adelaide based illustrator, Harry Slaghekke.
Our experienced life models will pose for 3-4 sets of short poses followed by several longer ones with a short break along the way.
Harry runs regular life drawing classes and will be available to give tips if you’d like them as well as running the evening.
Bring your sketch equipment - pad, pencil, charcoal or pen (no liquids including paint please) and you’ll be set to go. You can bring an easel if you want one, but they are not required as there are plenty of tables.
The bar will be open all night and the kitchen will be open from 6pm until 8pm.
The life drawing will start at 7pm and run until approximately 9.30pm.
The front door will be locked during the session as the models will be undraped.

Sing with Us - Indigenous Music & Folk Lore
Join Cindy-Anne and her vocal groups, as they take you on a journey of Indigenous Music from around the world this month. Aboriginal music, Native American drumming, Celtic music, and a variety of folk songs from across The Continent.
Diverse-City celebrates NAIDOC all month in July, so come along and hear some fantastic music, try some native food and meet and view the amazing artwork of Nikki Carabetta-Baugh, our NAIDOC Artist for 2025!
This afternoon of fun music and songs will have everyone in awe ... so get your clapping hands ready and join the whole room for a tune in the last set.
Lunch from the bar from 12:00pm and Desserts, Coffee & Drinks thru the afternoon.

Rainbow Dog Project Workshop
Rainbow Hub SA (RHSA) would like to invite you to the fourth in a series of consultations over a cuppa about the project they undertook in 2023-24, when Rainbow Hub were part of COTA SA, interviewing older LGBTI+ people about the effect that an illness or change of circumstances had on their emotional or mental well being. Rainbow Hub & COTA want to thank those who generously gave their time and shared their stories with us.

NAIDOC Exhibition Opening : Nikki Carabetta : Now Then Connections
Now living in Adelaide, urban artist Nikki Carabetta was born Yamaji and grew up Brinkin/ Malak-Malak or Ngangikurrunggurr. Her artwork reflects her rural Aboriginal heritage as well as her urban lifestyle including whilst incorporating elements from the elders of Kulaluk.
Nikki's art is original dot art, using traditional styles with contemporary techniques and mediums. It is the combination of the two that makes her work unique.
Nikki's stunning paintings are a means to share and maintain her culture and reflect upon her personal journey, Aboriginal identity, and political issues pertinent to Aboriginal people.
Hear this unique artist speak in detail about her works and enjoy a selection of delicious handmade canapés (included in your ticket).
Full Bar and coffee facilities will also be available.
